Outsourced SDR Services in the Philippines

A Day With Your Outsourced SDR

Your SDR works your business hours and your sales calendar. The day below is an illustration for a B2B team selling to operations leaders in the United States; the blocks move to match when your buyers pick up the phone.

Block (your time zone)What the SDR does
Start of dayReviews CRM tasks, replies from overnight email, and any notes your account executives left on yesterday's meetings
Research blockBuilds context on the day's accounts: role, company news, recent hires, tools they use, so each call has a specific reason
Call block oneCalls into the planned list using your talk track, logs every outcome and books meetings on your AE calendar
Email and LinkedInSends personalized follow-ups to the people called, plus connection requests and short messages where your sequence includes them
Call block twoSecond call window aimed at a different time slot, plus callbacks requested earlier in the day
Close of dayCRM notes completed, next tasks set, meeting confirmations sent and a short summary shared with your sales lead

The talk track starts from proven structures such as our outbound call scripts and is revised from real calls. For technique, see our cold calling tips.

Hand-Off Rules Between Your SDR and Your Account Executive

Most pipeline friction happens at the handoff. These rules are written down before the first call, so your account executives know what a booked meeting means and what they will find in the CRM.

  • Qualification is written: The criteria for a meeting, such as role, company size, need and timing, are agreed with your sales lead and checked on every booking.
  • Notes travel with the meeting: Each calendar invite links to a CRM record with the reason for the call, what the prospect said and any objections already raised.
  • Required fields are complete: Contact details, account fields and the lead source are filled in before the meeting is marked as booked.
  • Not a fit is recorded: Prospects who do not qualify get a disposition and a reason, which keeps your list clean and shows where targeting needs work.
  • Feedback comes back: Your AE marks each meeting as held, qualified or not qualified, and the SDR adjusts targeting and talk track from that feedback.

Calls to US consumers are covered by the FTC Telemarketing Sales Rule, the National Do Not Call Registry and TCPA consent rules for autodialed or prerecorded calls. The team works inside the rules, lists and suppression files you set.

getting started

How to Start an Outsourced SDR Program

  1. Define the buyer. Agree the industries, company sizes and job titles your SDR should reach, and the ones to leave alone.
  2. Settle the list source. Share your target account list, or set the rules the SDR uses to build one from the data tools you license.
  3. Write the sequence. Agree the call talk track, email templates and LinkedIn messages, and how many touches each prospect receives.
  4. Grant CRM access. Set up a user in your CRM with the fields, stages and dispositions your team already reports on.
  5. Review calls together. Listen to recordings with your sales lead on a fixed schedule and change one thing at a time.

If you are weighing this against hiring, our comparison of in-house SDRs and outsourced cold calling covers control, cost structure and management time. For call-only programs, see cold calling and appointment setting.

More Questions About Outsourced SDR Services

Does the SDR build their own prospect lists?
They can. Some clients supply a target account list, others have the SDR research and build lists using rules and data tools the client provides. Either way, the list lives in your CRM.
Who owns the CRM data and call recordings?
You do. The SDR works inside your CRM and your calling tools, so every contact, note and recording stays in your systems when the engagement changes or ends.
How is an SDR different from an appointment setter?
An appointment setter mainly books meetings from leads you already have. An SDR also researches accounts, runs multi-channel sequences and qualifies interest, acting as the first stage of your sales process.
Can the SDR work alongside our in-house reps?
Yes. Many teams split the work by territory, segment or lead source. The handoff rules and CRM fields are set so your in-house reps and the SDR report in the same way.
